Karinjini Garden in Karrinyup Project

Our clients were married in Karinjini and requested a living reminder of this in their garden. We love having a love story to create a beautiful garden around! The permeable compacted red gravel paths reflected the pindan earth of Karinjini as well as allowing rain and irrigation water to penetrate and store within the ground instead of making a beeline to the storm-water drain, as does most paving.

Like many Garden Deva clients, sustainability and interest were at the top of their wish-list. We really enjoyed the process of creating geometric patterns with the garden layout within a contemporary (mainly) native plant domain.
