Healthy plants and thorough soil preparation are critical to the long term success of your garden. The importance of choosing healthy plants cannot be over emphasised.

If you are planting out your own garden and need some guidance, we offer a plant placement service, soil preparation advice and personal planting lessons if needed.

These popular corrugated planters are supplied by Garden Deva, and are commonly used for vegetables but may be used for any planting scheme. They are locally made using a percentage of recycled steel and are available in a variety of colours.

Why not create a green daybed using lawn (see above right) or even artificial turf as a maintenance free option!

Planters are a stylish and inexpensive way to maximise space in the garden. They are a fraction of the cost of constructing a retaining bed and are easily transportable.

Round, rectangular or oblong shapes are available and in sizes to suit any garden or courtyard. Heights - 400mm or 800mm (back friendly, dog unfriendly)

SAND REMEDY

Much of Perth soils, especially in coastal areas, are notorious for being non-wetting (hydrophobic) and lacking in nutrients. Sand remedy is a natural soil amendment specifically designed for coastal soils which changes the structure of the soil, creating a loamy texture which is preferred by all plants.

Mixed through sandy soil in conjunction with compost or soil conditioner, sand remedy saves water and improves soil.

$35 per 5kg tub. 3kg covers 10sqm. Particularly poor soils may require more sand remedy per square metre. Pick up or deliver. Delivery fees apply.
